About The Parish:
Holy Trinity Orthodox Church Our new temple The Iconostasis Mary Jackie Nelson Iconographer We are a community of Christians whose members have come to the Orthodox Faith from a variety of backgrounds. Most of us are relatively recent converts to the Faith; all of us are in the process of struggling daily to be more deeply converted. Weary of spiritual fads, on the one hand, and the emptiness of atheistic materialism that the world has to offer us, on the other, we have sought the "ancient path," in which the Prophet Jeremiah foretold that we would find rest for our souls. And, indeed, in the Orthodox Church we have found the home for which we've yearned. It is a home that embraces us with infinite compassion and, at the same time, asks us to give up everything, laying down our lives that we might gain true life. It is the place of the transformation of our stony hearts into hearts of flesh and of the renewing of our minds. It is the place of coming face-to-face with the living God - in a word, we have discovered Jesus Christ, and the continuing presence of His incarnate Body on earth.
We chose to name our parish after the Holy Trinity because our corporate life is focused on worshiping the triune God by entering into communion with the Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ, in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. As we continue our journey toward the Kingdom that is yet to come in its fullness, the Holy Trinity is our vision of Life: meeting God at His table, walking in love for one another with united hearts, and sharing the superabundance of God's goodness with all those who are hungry for Life.Holy Trinity Church was consecrated by His Eminence the Most Reverend Bishop BASIL on January 21, 2006 and it priest, Father John Bethancourt elevated to Archpriest.
We welcome you to join us on the Way.
